First Year / Certificate Course

Centre for Homeopathic Education New YorkIn the first year of the course you will be given a vital and solid base in homeopathic principles and philosophy. You will study some well-known homeopathic remedy pictures (materia medica), begin case-taking and analysis, learn several of the medical sciences, as well as begin to focus on practitioner development. Homeopathic materia medica forms a central core to the syllabus while giving a holistic insight into the dis-ease process of the individual.

You will learn how to apply case-taking skills to both acute and chronic cases beginning with the classical method as the basis for case analysis and prescribing. The medical sciences curriculum runs concurrently with the homeopathic syllabus allowing integration between these two complementary areas.
